Kalamos Commandaria 2018

The grapes are left on the vine until overripe and harvested when the sugar content has reached an acceptable level (corresponding to a high must weight). By law, Commandaria must be aged in oak barrels for a minimum of four years. The Commandaria is not dissimilar to a sweet sherry. In addition to the sweetness present, there is a taste of red fruits.

As a dessert wine , the Commandaria goes perfectly with sweet desserts, but also with various cheeses and foie gras, it is also a good aperitif or digestif wine.
