Zivania

Zivania has been made from fermented grape pomace in Cyprus since the 14th century. The term Zivania has been protected by the EU since 2004 and may only be used for products made in Cyprus.

The authentic taste of the Zivania is transferred from the grapes to the distillate. The uniqueness of the taste of Zivania is a symbiosis of the climatic conditions of Cyprus, the production methods, the type of distillation and the grape variety.

The Zivania can be cold, but should not be drunk with ice cubes.
