Talatturi - A refreshing Joghurt dish

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups yogurt 10%

2-3 chopped garlic cloves

1 cup grated cucumber

3 tablespoons organic extra virgin Olive Oil Oliva1

1 tablespoon vinegar

Salt and dried Mint according to taste

Halve the cucumber lengthwise, remove the seeds, grate coarsely, sprinkle with salt and simmer a few minutes. In the meantime peel cloves of garlic, finely chop or press and mix it with vinegar and olive oil in a large bowl. Give the yogurt gradually to the mixture with the drained, well squeezed cucumber grated. Eventually add some salt, pour in a bowl and sprinkle it with dried Mint. Use a couple of drops olive oil for decoration.

P.S. I peel the cucumber if necessary, rub them in a sieve and use a plate for the expiring cucumber water.
